2026.10.20.2
- Better results Nights with dark frames, flats or bias now get the full aircraft and satellite cleaner too, so the lines it used to leave near the treeline are gone.
- New Before Start, the page says what your device will make of the night: the picture size, about how long it takes and how the trails are cleaned. On a phone or tablet it says first that photos are made smaller.
- New Remove a line: drag along a line left on the finished picture with a finger, a pen or the mouse, and run the night again without it. The line is remembered for that night. More
- Better results While a night runs, the page says about how long is left for the whole night, not only for its last stage.
- Fixes If a night stopped before it finished, for example when a phone closed the tab, the next try is planned smaller and says why.
2026.10.20
- Better results The aircraft and satellite cleaner leaves lit foregrounds alone: campfires, people and car lights on a road stay as they were.
- Better results On a night where the sky shows too little to find the horizon, buildings and antennas are left untouched.
- Fixes A set of photos from several different nights no longer makes the cleaner run on without finishing.
2026.10.19
- New A new aircraft and satellite cleaner compares every photo with its neighbours and repairs only the trail, photo by photo. More
- Better results It cleans right down to the treeline, including the short trails aircraft leave near the horizon.
- New Phones and tablets get the same cleaner, working in smaller pieces to fit their memory, and the page says before Start whether a night fits.
- Better results The example pictures on the home page and in the guides were made again with the new cleaner.
